Note: Our Newsletter form currently does not use reCAPTCHA.
3) How we use your information
Support and enquiries
We use contact form information to respond to your message, provide support, and keep a record of our correspondence.
Pre‑launch / trial queue
We use your trial sign‑up information to:
- manage the trial queue (e.g., eligibility, prioritisation, and contact scheduling);
- contact you about trial availability, next steps, and practical arrangements; and
- understand interest and demographics to help us improve the product and plan launch.
Email updates and newsletters
If you opt in to email updates or newsletters, we’ll use your email address to send you OMNX news, OMGO product updates, and (where relevant) early access announcements.
Security and fraud prevention
We use anti‑spam and security measures (including reCAPTCHA, rate‑limiting, and validation checks) to protect our website, forms, and users.
4) Lawful bases
UK GDPR requires us to have a lawful basis for using personal information. The lawful basis can differ depending on the purpose.
A) Support contact form
Legitimate interests — it’s in our legitimate interests to receive and respond to messages from visitors and customers, and to keep records of communications so we can follow up appropriately.
B) Pre‑launch / Trial queue
We process your pre‑launch/trial sign‑up information for two main reasons:
- Legitimate interests — it’s in our legitimate interests to run the trial queue you asked to join (for example, prioritising and organising participation) and to use high‑level, early‑stage research signals to improve the product.
- Consent (email contact & updates) — when you tick the required consent box on the trial form, you are asking us to contact you about the OMGO trial queue and pre‑launch updates. Where you tick the optional “email updates” box, you’re also opting in to broader ongoing email updates. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
C) Newsletter / email updates
Consent — we send marketing emails to individuals only when you opt in (unless a narrow “soft opt‑in” exception applies).
D) Security and anti‑spam
Legitimate interests — it’s in our legitimate interests to protect our website and forms from spam, abuse, and fraud.
If you have questions about our lawful bases, contact us and we’ll explain how they apply to your situation.
5) Marketing and preferences
We only send marketing emails to individuals when we have an appropriate basis under PECR — usually your consent.
- Trial form (required box): if you tick the required consent box on the trial form (
consent), you agree to be contacted about the OMGO trial queue and pre‑launch updates. - Optional updates: if you tick the optional updates box (
email_updates), you’re also opting in to broader ongoing email updates (for example newsletters and future announcements). - Unsubscribe any time: every marketing email will include an unsubscribe option, and you can also contact us to opt out.
7) International transfers
Some service providers (including Google) may process personal information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers (for example contractual protections used by major providers).
8) How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then delete or anonymise it.
- Support contact messages: [e.g., 12 months after last correspondence]
- Pre‑launch / trial queue: [e.g., until launch + 18 months, or until you unsubscribe/ask us to delete]
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or we stop sending newsletters
- Security/anti‑abuse logs: [e.g., 30–90 days]
If we need to keep some information for longer (for example, to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes), we will do so only as long as required.
9) Your rights
You have rights under UK GDPR, including:
- the right to access your personal information;
- the right to correct inaccurate information;
- the right to request deletion in certain circumstances;
- the right to restrict or object to certain processing (including processing based on legitimate interests);
- the right to data portability in certain circumstances; and
- the right to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.
To exercise your rights, contact us at mysupport@myomnx.com.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
10) Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls and account security within our Google Workspace environment. No system is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk and limit access to those who need it.
11) Children
Our website is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not submit personal information via our forms. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
12) Cookies and similar technologies
We currently do not use analytics or advertising cookies on our website. We may use security technologies (such as reCAPTCHA) that can involve cookies or similar technologies as part of spam and abuse prevention.
When we add analytics or other non‑essential cookies, we will provide additional cookie information and (where required) a cookie consent mechanism before those cookies are set.
13) Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page and will show the “Last updated” date above.
14) Contact us
For privacy questions or requests, email mysupport@myomnx.com.
If you’d like, you can also use our Support page contact form — but email is best for rights requests.
